Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Stagio, operated by the operator of Stagio ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Stagio is an AI-powered virtual staging service for real estate photography. We generate AI versions of room photos with virtual furniture and decor for marketing and visualization purposes only.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Stagio only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Upload photos you do not own or have rights to use
  • Use generated images to misrepresent property conditions
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service
  • Share your account credentials with others

By uploading a photo you represent that you own it or have the necessary rights and permissions to it, including from any photographer and any individuals or property depicted, and you grant us the limited rights needed to process it to provide the service. You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content or your breach of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, with notice where practicable.

4. Generated Images & Virtual Staging Disclosure

AI-generated images are for marketing and visualization purposes only and do not represent the actual condition of any property. You are responsible for clearly labeling generated images as virtually staged in any listing, advertisement, or submission, in accordance with applicable real-estate advertising rules. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the images you generate for your own real-estate marketing; we retain all rights in the Stagio platform, software, and models.

5. Billing and Refunds

Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record; Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Subscriptions are billed periodically and unused credits do not roll over past the billing period. Our Refund Policy governs refunds and is incorporated into these Terms; in case of any conflict, the Refund Policy controls. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Consumers in the EU/UK have a statutory withdrawal right for digital purchases as described in the Refund Policy.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will provide reasonable advance notice (by email and/or in the service). If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may stop using the service and cancel; changes do not apply retroactively.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place of establishment of the operator of Stagio, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights or remedies available to you under the laws of your country of residence. Where you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence. We will always try to resolve any concern informally first — please contact us.

Except where you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose mandatory law provides otherwise: any dispute that is not resolved informally shall be settled by final and binding individual arbitration, and you and we agree that claims may be brought only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. This paragraph does not apply to, and nothing in these Terms waives, any mandatory consumer rights, the right to bring qualifying claims in small-claims court, or any non-waivable right to bring or participate in proceedings under the law of your country of residence.

9. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
